PEACEFUL (lake, sunset, wilderness, solitude, reading, drinking tea, meditating,...)

Lord, You know the missunderstanding between me and certain people. Harsh words and thoughtless actions have been exchanged. I do not pray for You to change them. I know I must begin with my self and correct my own shortcomings. Remove from my memory all acids of bitterness and vengeance. Enable me now to let all pretensions go. Grant me a a quiet mind and a sense of humor. Give me the grace of open heart, the outstretched hand and the warm embrace. Let me be the first to let go of the hurt. Let it begin with me now.
