Manic monday

I was running late this morning in going to work. I almost jumped out of the car when my dad put it on stop in front of the building where my office is located. I walked as fast as I could in going to the elevator. To my surprise, I step on to something, making me loose my balance and get knocked down as I entered the elevator. As I stood up, I caught the thing which I stepped on earlier, its a pen. Someone help me as we went to the clinic. Luckily, I just got some small bruises.
