The afternoon day off

I got off from work earlier than the usual this afternoon. My sister phoned me to say my brother has an emergency meeting that time and asked me to fetch her at the mall where she bought a new mattress for my niece. On my way, to the mall, I passed by my newly wed friend Elaine, waiting for a taxi. So I pulled over to let her in. Good thing she's also going to the mall. After meeting with my sister and fixing the things she bought inside the car, we went to have coffee together with Elaine. We had fun chatting and interviewing the newlywed. We got home just in time for dinner.
