New place

My friend was informed about SeaCoastRealty.com for southport real estate since they are looking for new house. They have move their last month because her husband got a new job. I hope they will find a house soon and that they can start their new life. I am sad and happy at the same time for my friend. Since she is already away from me but then I am happy for them that their wish came true to have their dream house. I am excited already to visit them soon and to learn also their new place.

For the house

We went window shopping with my mom and found out that our favorite shopping mall is giving a discount on all of their furniture products. After seeing those modern furniture my mom wanted to buy new kitchen cabinets. Since my mom haven't been buying some furniture for our house she decided that we would return there tomorrow and try to look for nice accessories that we could buy for our living room, kitchen and bathroom.

I've listed some of the things that we need for our bathroom, even in our kitchen and in our living room. The next day we went to the shop. We bought some hanging things, those hanging things are made to hold toothbrushes and toothpastes. We also bought some trash cans a green one for our main bathroom and a red one for my own bathroom inside my room. We also bought some kitchen utensils for baking. I got so excited to buy some of those utensils because I will be the one using it. I want to prove to my mom that I have learned a lot on my baking lessons at school. We also bought vases and pillows for our living room and a piano cover for my keyboard.

Summer vacation

My uncle invited us to visit them this summer and he plan for a motor home repair so we can go on camping. That was a great idea from him and we are looking forward to have a summer vacation with them. Now I am very excited since I never experience camping and that would be a great one for sure. It's also a family reunion with them since we haven’t seen each other for decades.

My mom will be the one happy about this because it's been her long wish to see her younger brother. I wish and hope we can make it on the said day of the vacation. I am very excited now and we will surely spend the summer days with them.

Busy Sunday

Last Sunday, instead of taking time to rest from the hectic weekdays, I was at my mom’s house supervising the installation of home automation system. There was a misunderstanding about the schedule of the installation with the gadgets company that’s why I had to do the supervising. Of course, my mom had to bribe me with a shopping spree using her credit card. LOL!

On the other hand, I realized how important the safety of our home. I know that the people who installed the system at my mom’s house were just making sales talk on me but still I was convinced that we should not take our safety for granted. We still have to be vigilant than sorry in the end.

Newly renovated

I was disappointed when I saw another pendant lighting on online shop when I have already just bought one. Good thing my sister really likes the one I bought and so she volunteered to buy it so I can ordered another one. Thanks sister you are my super saving angel sister. Now I am contented with my new dining room renovations and the lightings are really perfect for the ambiance.

New year projects

This coming New Year I will start with my home renovation. I will start with the changing our door knobs with schlage hardware for security purposes. I made a list already with all the things I want to do and I hope I can finished it before summer. By the summer season I can just relax in my garden and enjoy the sunshine every day. I am excited with my plans since I am full motivated just for a change and new look for New Year too.

I'ts beginning

Last weekend we put up the Christmas garland at the front door. We were all excited since it's our fist time to decorate our front door for it was just renovated last summer including our front lawn. The lights are very amazing specially the blinking star on the center of the door. It really beginning looks like a lot of Christmas already in our house. I wish you too will have great celebrations this Christmas season.

For our new bath

Last weekend I went scouting for medicine cabinets since the old one I have is not anymore appropriate for our new bathroom. I had a lot of choices and it’s very difficult to choose and so I decided to bring home some catalogues and I will try this week to go back at the shop when I have finally made my choice. Good thing I found a simple and it is very convenient to use. There is no need already to order as soon as I buy it I can bring home the cabinet at once. I’m excited Lol!

Sentimental values

Moving to a new house requires a lot of work and that is what we are experiencing right now. I just finished sorting out a lot of our old things to be disposed soon. I can’t not just throw away things; that have sentimental values to me and things that are still useful even they are already so old enough like the fine linens from my grandmother. I hope I can still use them soon in our new house and that I can also save a lot of money from not buying anymore new things for our house. I also hope that we will be finished with the renovation and home decoration so we can start enjoying our stay in our new home sweet home.

For summer

During summer, I can‘t stay on my home office room since it is located on the attic part of the house and it is very hot in there. I prefer working on the kitchen table during those days. My sister in law gave me her old ceiling just like the Hunter fans and the room was quiet cool this time. I can now do my work there and my afternoon naps in between. Hubby wanted to put other ceiling fans to make the other part of the attic room as our entertainment room. I hope I will not be disturbed when I work on my home office room that is, I will just spend the day with DVD marathon instead of working. LOL!

Making Miracles with Hands

When my mom decided to let our kitchen be renovated, she said she will be the one to supervise it. But due to her busy schedule, I was the one tasked to do the supervision. Almost an hour ago, I watch the construction people put on some Franke sinks and new tiles on the sink and I was amazed. They have mastered the art of putting things into their exact places accurately. I am not really into the interior decorating stuff or something about construction or whatever you call it you see, I don’t even know what exactly to call that stuff. I actually skipped woodshop in high school. LOL! As far as I can remember, I enrolled in basic accounting that time. While my classmates were all enjoying furniture or miniature tables and chairs, I was using my calculator in balancing amounts. But this time, I envy those people who can work and make miracles with their hands.

City Life

Opportunities in the urban area maybe more than the rural places but I would still prefer to live in the rural area. It’s more peaceful, simple and healthier. I’ve been in the city for almost a year now and I haven’t really appreciated life here. First and foremost, the surroundings polluted. I think you need one of those furnace filters or air filters, if you go out so that you will not be exposed to lung problems. The environment is too demanding. There is always pressure. The clock tick tocks fast that you can not feel your life anymore. If not only for my bread and butter, I would rather go back and live a peaceful, simple and a healthier life in my hometown.

House Fixing

My dad had decided it’s time to renovate the whole house. Things like repainting, repairs, additional cabinets and lighting fixture are badly needed. To finish the renovation in just a day or two, we have to vacate our house and live somewhere else. Since we don’t have a relative living nearby and apartments are for long term stay, we checked in a hotel. Not a luxurious one of course. But it was like a vacation. Since I was a weekend, it was fun because everything is being served. All we did was to eat, watch TV and sleep. We went back home after two nights in the hotel. My siblings were wishing for another house renovation. LOL!

The big move

My aunt and her family are moving to New York this summer. they already hired a movers New York to help them in packing their things to lessen up some stressful activities and be secure with their important belongings. I hope and wish them a new start in their new home where my aunt found a new job. Someday I can visit them in there new house.
